The 4-methylumbelliferyl 4-O-(?-L-fucopyranosyl)-?-D-galactopyranoside is a fluorescent compound that can be used as an antigen. It can be used to generate antibodies against the antigen, which are then used for diagnosis of cancer. The nucleic acid molecules and sequences encoding this antigen can also be used in diagnostics.
