Selected projects

Custom glycan synthesis case studies

From gram-scale enzymatic synthesis to research standards with analytical documentation, each project starts with a defined target and an agreed scope.

Case 01

N-glycan synthesis at gram scale

Bottom-up assembly through a fully enzymatic route

Project quantities
1–10 g
Specified purity
≥95%
Stereochemical control
Enzymatic

The brief

The project called for gram-scale Asn-linked N-glycans across multiple glycosylation patterns, with defined structures and a purity specification of at least 95%.

Our approach

A bottom-up, fully enzymatic synthesis strategy used the selectivity of glycosyltransferases to control glycosidic bond formation and achieve high stereochemical control during assembly.

Project scope

The project scope included both 1 g and 10 g N-glycan requirements. Each target was specified separately to align structure, quantity, and purity with the research program.

Case 02

Custom N-glycan standards

Analytical characterization with confidential structural details

Characterization data
NMR
Mass-spectrometric data

Custom

The brief

The requirement was a set of custom N-glycan standards with project-specific structural requirements and supporting analytical documentation for research use.

Our approach

The analytical package included NMR spectra and mass-spectrometric datasets to support characterization of the prepared standards. The scope and documentation were tailored to the individual targets.

Project scope

Molecular structures and ligand identities are withheld from this public summary. Project-specific structures and analytical requirements can be discussed privately with our team.

The supplied records include two oligosaccharide panels and a separate sialyl Lewis X spectrum. NMR is the available method for these examples. Discuss any additional mass-spectrometric or chromatographic documentation needed for your application.

Selected project data. These panels are not a certificate for every product or batch. HPLC peak-area percentages are not an absolute purity measurement.

Project examples are shared anonymously. Quantities and specifications describe these projects; feasibility, purity, and scale are reviewed for each new request. Research Use Only.

Questions before you order

How do I choose an N-glycan standard?

Match the exact structure, chemical form, and labeling status to your method. Share your target structure and analytical application with our team if you need help identifying a suitable product.

Can I request several standards in one quote?

Yes. Add the products to your quote list and submit the required quantities together. Include your intended method and any documentation requirements in the notes.

What if I cannot find the required glycan?

Send a custom glycan synthesis request with the target sequence or structure, required amount, and purity. Feasibility, pricing, and delivery expectations are reviewed for each project.
