BbAfcB(α1,3/4 Fucosidase)
Product description
α1,3/4-Fucosidase, E.C.: 3.2.1.111, derived from Bifidobacterium bifidum, is a widely specific exoglycosidase that can catalyze the hydrolysis of fucose residues at the terminal α1-3 and α1-4 linkages of oligosaccharides and glycoproteins.
Response equation
Galβ1,4(Fucα1,3)Glc——Galβ1,4Glc+Fuc
Transportation and storage methods
- Dry ice transportation; Store at -20℃±5℃; Valid for 18 months.
- Do not freeze or thaw after the enzyme is dissolved. It can be stored at 2-8℃. Valid for 1 month.
Application method
- In the reaction system, add the substrate in sequence, 50 mM sodium acetate, pH 5.5, add 5 mM CaCl2 and mix well, then add an appropriate amount of BbAfcB.(The lyophilized enzyme powder is dissolved by adding appropriate amount of purified water, and the final concentration is 5-10mg/ml..)
- Incubate the sample at 37℃ for 2-4 hours or overnight.
[Note] When the system is scaled up, the incubation time or enzyme amount needs to be adjusted according to the actual situation, and can be mixed at low speed.
