Naphthol AS-BI beta-L-fucopyranoside is a high quality, chromogenic and bioluminescent substrate for the detection of ?-galactosidase activity. It has been used in diagnostics, food testing, culture media, environmental testing and other areas. This product is manufactured by a process that includes an enzymatic reaction with naphthol AS-BI and ?-D-fucopyranose. Naphthol AS-BI beta-L-fucopyranoside is soluble in water, ethanol, methanol and acetone.
