AgaropentaoseAgarose is a polysaccharide found in red algae, typically Gelidium and Gracilaria. It is a strictly alternating polysaccharide of α-1,3 linked D-galactose and β-1,4 linked L-3,6 anhydrogalactose with occasional sulfation at position 6 of the anhydrogalactose residue. Agaro-oligosaccharides result from cleavage at galactose residues and neoagaro-oligosaccharides from cleavage at 3,6-anhydro residues. Reports have suggested that agaropentaose has neuroprotective properties.CAS No155015-99-9Chemical FormulaC30H48O24Molecular Weight792.69 g/molSmilesO[C@@H]([C@H](O[C@H]([C@@H]1O)O)CO)[C@@H]1O[C@@H]([C@H]([C@@H]2OC3)O)O[C@@H]3[C@H]2O[C@H]4[C@@H]([C@H]([C@H]([C@H](O4)CO)O)O[C@H]5[C@H]([C@H]6[C@@H]([C@H](CO6)O5)O[C@@H]7O[C@@H]([C@@H]([C@@H]([C@H]7O)O)O)CO)O)OStoragestore at <-15?C, keep dryHarmonized Tariff CodesSwitzerland: 29400090 - USA: 2940006000 - Slovakia: 2940000080 - UK: 2940000080 - China: 2940009000
