6-Bromo-2-naphthyl b-D-glucopyranoside
6-Bromo-2-naphthyl b-D-glucopyranoside is an enzyme substrate used in chromogenic assays with beta-glucosidases. It has been used in culture media for the identification of Legionella pneumophila.
6-bromo-2-naphthyl beta-D-glucoside is a beta-D-glucoside that is beta-D-glucopyranose in which the anomeric hydroxy hydrogen is replaced by a 6-bromo-2-naphthyl group.
